Marco Pini

Marco Pini is currently heading the Navigation Technologies researcher area. He received the Ph D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in December 2006 and the degree in Communication Engineering in 2003, both from Politecnico di Torino University. In 2005 he was at the University of Colorado at Boulder (U.S.A), working as visiting researcher at the Aerospace Engineering Science Department. Marco Pini has worked on several research projects, at both national and European level, gaining a significant experience in the coordination of technical activities.
His major interests cover many aspect of radio navigation systems, such as RF front end design and software radio implementation, interference mitigation and anti-spoofing detection for critical infrastructure based on GPS, innovative location based services and applications. As a result of the experience gained on GNSS receiver technology, Marco Pini is also co-author of papers on many journals and international conferences.
