In 1997 he won a University Researcher in Electronics at the Department of Electronics of the Polytechnic University of Turin. Since 1999 he has been the scientific director and coordinator of the Electronics group at the Prototyping Service Center of the Polytechnic of Turin – Meccatronica Laboratory (CSPP-LIM, www.lim.polito.it) where he carries out part of his scientific activity and coordination of research and technology transfer. Since December 2000 he has been a confirmed researcher at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Politecnico di Torino. From 2002 to 2012 he was a member of the Teaching Committee of the PhD program in Mechatronic Engineering at the Turin Polytechnic. In 2005 he founded the company ACTUA s.r.l. (Actuation and Control Technologies for Mechatronics Applications), spin-off of the Politecnico di Torino of which he was a member until May 2008. From October 2007 to September 2011 he was deputy director of the CSPP-LIM, vice-coordinator of the course of studies in Mechatronic Engineering and a member of the International Relations, Mobility and Studies Commission Abroad (a position he still holds). Since September 2011 he is an aggregate professor at the Polytechnic of Turin. Since October 2012 he has been teaching professor at the DAUIN College where he is responsible for the student admission process (APPLY process), student careers, international mobility and the management of extracurricular training activities (traineeships) for the Master’s Degree Program in Mechatronics Engineering. Since 2013 he has been responsible and teaching coordinator at the Polytechnic University of Turin in Verrès (AO) and member of the Faculty Board of the PhD program in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico.

Since October 2016 he has held the role of delegated professor for the Master’s Degree Course in Mechatronics Engineering, overseeing all the quality management activities of the degree program.

From December 2017 he is the coordinator and principal investigator of the Interdepartmental Center on Service Robotics of Politecnico di Torino (PIC4SeR, pic4ser.polito.it).

He currently teaches in English the courses of “Electronic Fundamentals and Applications” and “Electronic systems for Mechatronics” at the headquarters of the Politecnico di Torino (Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering).

He carries out research activities in the fields of Electronic Systems (control applications in the industrial, energy, automotive and space sectors), Mechatronics and Service Robotics. IEEE Member, co-author of more than 110 articles presented in national and international journals and / or conferences and co-author of 9 international patents.
